If you wish to restrict the publications you collected in a Search Result to a certain span of years, select the option "time restriction". In the list choose the Search Result you are interested in by moving the cur-sor to the Result Name and then press Return.
A small windows come up:

period of publication (19..-..): _

Enter the span of years in the format: "yyyy-yy" or "yyyy".
If you wish the publications from 1990 up to 1995, so enter "1990-95". If you wish to restrict to a single year only, e. g. 1980, enter "1980".
Complete by pressing Return.
